Don't trust the reveal.
Check the record.
Winner selection and presentation are separate. This auditor checks the commitments, exact winner calculation, and—on new draws—the signed external randomness beacon.
No record selected.
Bring your own eyes. Or AI.
The readable audit source does not import our server's draw function. Run it locally with the official drand verification library, or ask someone independent to inspect it.
npm install --save-exact drand-client@1.4.2 @noble/hashes@1.8.0
node -e 'const fs=require("node:fs");require("./draw-audit.js").verifyFully(JSON.parse(fs.readFileSync("record.json","utf8"))).then(console.log).catch(e=>{console.error(e);process.exitCode=1})'To compare your saved receipt locally, pass its parsed JSON as the second argument to verifyFully(record, receipt). No login, wallet connection, or EI API call is needed to verify downloaded files.
What this can—and cannot—prove
- New draws fix a future drand quicknet round before its value is available. A valid BLS signature authenticates that beacon; it is not a promise about EI's whole website.
- A pre-draw receipt saved or independently published before the round provides evidence of the earlier commitment. Editable timestamps alone do not prove prior publication.
- Names and shortened entry addresses are bound to the selected public tickets on new records. Full wallet ownership and eligibility are not established by this proof.
- The website owner still controls deployment and storage. This is not an immutable public ledger, proof against hidden draws, or a guarantee of external network honesty.
- Legacy results replay a server-selected seed. They do not retroactively gain independent randomness.
- The rotating names and cinematic video are presentation only. They cannot select or change winners.
